A single weak burner is a cooktop fault. All of them weak together, particularly if the water heater or a neighbour's range is also struggling, is usually a supply question that belongs to the gas utility or the building owner.

One burner or all of them

We start by checking every burner and, where we can, the pressure at the cooktop inlet. If it is low at the inlet, no part inside the cooktop will cure it, and we explain who needs to be called.

All gas burners not lighting at once is different: if they all click without catching, the shared spark module or its supply is the likely cause. If none of them click, the fault is usually electrical, starting with the outlet or breaker feeding the igniters.

Newer blocks at the stations
