Manufacturers we service
Frigidaire and Electrolux come from the same platform, and that shared engineering gives Frigidaire owners good parts supply. The catch is the trim line: base, Gallery and Professional stoves can look similar and carry quite different electronics.

Frigidaire Stove repair across Greater Boston
The model tag is the single most useful thing you can give us when booking. Ordering from the badge alone is the most reliable way to end up with the wrong board.
Infinite switches on coil and radiant tops
Base-trim Frigidaire electric stoves meter each surface element through a knob-mounted infinite switch. A worn switch leaves an element stuck high or refusing to warm, and it is tested before anything else because it is the likeliest cause.
Coil tops add their own weak spot. A plug-in element that has overheated can burn its socket, and replacing the coil without the receptacle only moves the scorching to the new part.
Relay boards that change with the trim
Gallery and Professional models switch elements electronically through board relays. The failure looks the same across trims, with an element on permanently or not at all, but the replacement board is not interchangeable.
The technician checks the element first and the board last. When the board is confirmed, it is sourced to the exact model, not to the family resemblance.
Fuel, flame and the burners on top
Frigidaire sells gas and electric versions of the same stove, and across Greater Boston both are common: piped gas close in, electric or propane further out. A yellow, lazy flame on just one burner generally means the cap or head is not seated properly or the ports are partly blocked.
Reseat the cap and clean the head once cold. If the flame stays yellow, the stove needs a technician, as supply pressure and orifices are not owner adjustments.
Questions
FAQ — Frigidaire Stove repair
Can't see yours? Just ask us.
Where is the model number on a Frigidaire stove?
Look on the frame behind the storage drawer or around the oven door opening. A photo of the tag sent at booking lets us bring the right parts.
Does an Electrolux part fit my Frigidaire?
Many mechanical components cross between the two badges. Electronics are matched by model, since trim lines differ even within Frigidaire.
My coil element sparks where it plugs in. Is it safe to use?
No. Stop using that position and turn it off; arcing at the socket means the receptacle is damaged and must be replaced along with the element.
