Brushing, not vacuuming

A vacuum pulls loose lint out of a dry duct, but it slides straight past wet, compacted paste. We use rotary brushes that scrape the walls of the pipe, then check the airflow to confirm the run is actually clear.

After cleaning, the next question is why it happened. If the duct runs a long way through cold space, the real fix is often shortening it or insulating the exposed section. Cleaning it every winter doesn't solve the problem.

Is the machine at fault too?
