Manufacturers we service
Smeg is widely recognised for retro refrigeration, but it also builds built-in ovens and ranges with sealed gas burners, spark ignition and conventional electric elements. The burners, electrodes and valves are individually replaceable.

Smeg Oven repair across Greater Boston
Much of what an owner paid for is the look, so the coloured panels and handles are treated with more care than a plain steel front would need. We protect them throughout the visit. Where a panel has to come off to reach a component, it is set aside padded and refitted with its original fixings.
Clicking and uneven flames
Fouled spark electrodes keep clicking after ignition because the module never detects the flame. Partly obstructed burner ports cause uneven or lazy flames. Owners of Smeg ranges often notice the clicking first on a single burner after a pan has boiled over.
Cleaning, electrode replacement and port clearing resolve most burner complaints. Valves are rarely the problem. If a burner clicks after cleaning, give it time to dry completely before trying again; that alone sometimes solves it.
Sensor and thermostat drift
A Smeg oven that has started to cook unevenly or slowly has usually drifted at the sensor or thermostat. It happens gradually, so the owner notices results before any warning.
We probe the cavity through a full cycle and compare it with the setting before deciding on replacement. A sensor outside tolerance is replaced; a small offset on a thermostat model may be adjustable instead.
Imported parts
Parts come through a smaller import network, so availability on anything beyond common wear items is confirmed during diagnosis. We do not assume a same-day finish. Knowing that early lets you plan around a wait rather than discover it partway through the repair.
Door seals and hinges wear on these ovens too, letting heat out along the top edge. They are usually obtainable, but lead times are quoted at the diagnosis.
Questions
FAQ — Smeg Oven repair
Can't see yours? Just ask us.
Why does my Smeg burner keep clicking?
The electrode is usually fouled or damp. Drying or cleaning it often resolves it; otherwise, the electrode is replaced.
Will you take care of the styled panels?
Yes. Yes. Any panel or handle that has to come off is wrapped and set aside before work starts. A scratched or dented front is not something we want to leave behind on an appliance chosen for its looks.
How long do Smeg oven parts take?
Common wear items are often quick. Other components come through import channels, and we tell you the lead time at the diagnosis.
