A door that must seal

Electrolux doors are well built, yet a seal that has hardened or a latch that has worn can still leave an interlock switch unsure whether the door is shut. The unit then refuses to start, or cuts out when the door is nudged.

Our technician checks the door's alignment, latch hooks and each switch in sequence. It is the commonest fault on any microwave, and it is not a sign that yours is worn out.
