Two restrictions in Dedham

A steam dryer draws water through a small inlet valve and nozzle. Around Dedham Square, Oakdale and Riverdale, that nozzle can scale up until the steam cycle produces nothing. The dryer reports an error or simply skips the step. That is a separate fault from the duct, and both are worth checking.

We inspect the water path and the exhaust path on the same visit. A clean duct won't bring back a dead steam feature, and a new inlet valve won't fix clothes that come out damp.

Long runs in old houses

In Milton Village and East Milton Square, full basements carry long ducts to a side or rear wall. In the older houses, the duct sometimes shares a chase with pipework or flues that are older still. We follow the whole route before testing the heater.
