How we tell plumbing from a valve

Our technician checks the flow at the laundry tap with the hose off, then compares it with what the machine is drawing. Clogged inlet screens get cleaned at the same time, since debris from old pipe collects there.

If the tap delivers poorly, the answer is a plumber upgrading the branch, and we say so plainly. If the tap is strong and the machine still fills too slowly, the valve solenoid is tested and replaced only when it fails.

Getting in without a back driveway

Homes backing onto the Minuteman Bikeway have no vehicle route to the rear, so a replacement washer or a heavy drive motor comes through the front hall or the bulkhead. We plan that path when booking.
